Dear users:

Did you ever meet this situation, I used the
¡§http://my-ip-address/maia/internal-init.php¡š

to create an account for me, and I received an e-mail from Maia that
contains a temporary

login credentials. Use these at maia homepage to login, but there is
nothing to display

for me to maintain account, what can I do next?

Please advise!

Best Regards

Danny Lin

Hi,

Can you confirm which version of maia is being run (ie where you obtained it) and did you perform the superuser registration on first login?

Hello Joshua:

Thanks a lot for your reply, after checking httpd error_log, I found
the problem is lacking of

some perl modules, that cause the incorrect response, I fixed all errors
these days, and now

it works well.

I have tested the maia version 1.0.2c (from
http://www.maiamailguard.com/files/maia-1.0.2c.tar.gz)

and 1.0.4 (from
http://www.purplehat.org/downloads/maia/maia-1.0.4.tar.gz), both are
workable for

CentOS.

I think the perl modules playing a key role for this open source
software.

Wish you have a nice day!

Dear users:

I want to integrate Maia with Windows 2012 AD server for
authentication.

First of all. I use ldapsearch to test query, the test is successful,
then

I update the /var/www/html/maia/config.php to change $auth_method =
"internal"

to $auth_method = "ldap", at last when I try to login Maia, I CAN NOT
login,

and no error in the logs, but it seemed that the authentication got
problem.

May I know whether there is any reference doc for this and how can I
assign

the AD accounts to manage Maia with user_level ¡¥S¡Š privilege?

Thanks a lot.
